I only need the map when I'm moving, not when I'm standing still. It would be nice if it automatically disappeared when I stop moving, and reappear when I move. This would also make it so it's not there during cutscenes and stuff.
I was thinking fade in and fade out would be nice, but even instantly appearing and disappearing would be ok.

Updates were pushed to make this possible via an addon. As well as an addon to do it!
