This has been going on for months. I'm not sure why guildwork doesn't work at all anymore. The plugin loads but I see that config error. Tried adding or removing files/folder under the config directory.

The error is ignorable, just comes from inside of Ashita as it looks for an override config file: <Ashita_Path>/config/guildwork.xml

As for Guildwork not working, that is not on us. The plugin is not actually doing much of anything besides downloading and loading the Guildwork.exe, which we do not maintain, and passing information to it. Ashita is not responsible for any of the backend work done on Guildwork. The exe handles all the information setup that is sent back to the Guildwork server, the Guildwork plugin simply forwards data from the game client to the Guildwork exe.

The plugin is perfectly fine itself, but Guildwork in general has been fairly dead/broken for years now. Last I recall it was only syncing data once a week to the sites actual displayed info for profiles, and the only parts that are kept working are the chat and bazaar stuff since its integrated into FFXIAH. Nothing we can do though to fix the actual problems with Guildwork since we do not control any of that side of it.

Yes, I've noted that the windower version loads up a guildwork.exe process while on ashita the downloaded guildwork.exe PE seems to be corrupt. I don't see a process for guildwork in my process explorer.

Make sure your AV is not altering/deleting it. We do not control the .exe at all, we are just given are URL to point the plugin to for downloading it.

If you want to try and download it directly/replace it manually you can get it here:
https://guildwork.s3.amazonaws.com/windower4/Guildwork.exe
