Having an aftermath up should prevent getting afterglow, as well as removing an active afterglow when applying aftermath. In Ashita you can have both states active. This is happening on retail. Ashita does not alter how things like this are handled. Packets that deal with status effects and bonus' such as this are not touched by Ashita itself. Perhaps you have an addon or plugin causing issues with this, but this is not an issue with Ashita itself.
